It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Kence of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Kence and Helen Slovsky; his stepmother Margaret Kence; and his brother-in-law Chuck Davidson. He is survived by: his close friend Cheryl Kence of Pueblo, Colorado; his daughters, Keri Kence of Pueblo, Kelly Murphy of Colorado Springs and Kristi Ortiz of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his sons-in-law, Andy Murphy of Colorado Springs and Josh Ortiz of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Delores, Reg and Terry.
