Bowen-Carter; his former wife Peggy Suddeth; his wife Rose Bowen; his daughters, Crystal Anderson (Tracy) of Atlantic Ga and Jewel Gandy of Birmingham, ALA.; his siblings, Robbie Stevens-Harris of St. Petersburg Florida, Don C. Bowen (Sherrie), Eddie Bowen (Pauletta) and O'Neil Bowen; and his nephew Shawn Bowen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cousins.
