With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Marie Wyatt (Akron, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Joan Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her husband Mark; and her granddaughter Hannah Johnson. She is survived by : her sons, Christopher (Patricia), Craig and Cory Johnson; her caregivers, Jacob Johnson (Angel), Brooklyn Johnson, Tayden Johnson, Tori Johnson and Trevor Crim; and her great grandchild Kaidyn Copeland-Johnson.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
