She was predeceased by: her parents, Guyton Thigpen and Katherine Thigpen; her husband Ralph B. Darrow; her daughter Karen L. Thompson; her granddaughter Julie Davis; and her brothers, Guy, James, Raymond and Charles.
She is survived by: her son David Darrow (Denise); her grandchildren, Steve Thompson (Lesa), Amy Darrow and Dan Davis; her great grandchildren, Derek, Katie, Chelsea Davis, Lauren, Ryan Thompson, Emmanuel and Isabel Lopez; and her brother Richard Thigpen.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home (547 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
