He was predeceased by: his father Jerome Louis Silverman, Sr.; and his grandparents, Patricia Silverman and Jerry. He is survived by: his mother Anne Ruth Burroughs; his stepmother Patricia A. Silverman; his brother Brett Silverman; his half-sister Sheri Lynn Burroughs; his stepsiblings, Jeff Shaeffer and Rebecca Cekovsky (Thomas); his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Brookie (Michael), Abby Fox and Adam; and his great-nephew Leo Brookie.
