He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Childers and Pat Childers (Gordon); and his sister Linda Childers. He is survived by: his wife Amanda; his children, David Childers (Bethany), Katie Suffolk (Jim), Jenny Childers and Jeffery Childers (Stacey); his grandchildren, Emily, Joelle, Ava, Ivy, Ashley, Erin, Mark, Cindy, Nick and Jackie; his brothers, Dave Childers (Mary) and Charlie Childers; his close friend Dave Gould; and also, Mike and Robin Nelson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Those who wish may make memorial donations in Jeff's name to Hospice of the Western Reserve or the Cuyahoga Falls & Silver Lake Police Memorial & Honor Guard Foundation.
