She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold Heilig and Juanita Heilig; her husband Dr. Frank Hanzel M. D.; her children, Marcia (Ben), Marilyn Taffe (Michael), Melissa Midura (Tim) and Bruce Hanzel (Kathy); her grandchildren, Jeanne, Janna, Benjamin III, Derek, Colt, Rudolph and Grace; and her stepgrandchildren, Gregory and Lisa. She was also cherished by twelve great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, if so desired, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis Parish Education Endowment in care of St. Francis deSales Parish, 4019 Manchester Rd., Akron, OH 44319.
