He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale G. Hartong and Dorothy J. Hartong. He is survived by: his sister Tammy Ward (Bill); his niece Jennifer Troyer (Zach); his nephew Christopher Ward (Brittney); and his great-nephew Christian Ward.
