He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Whitworth M. D. Captain and Pansy Pauline Whitworth [Cozby]; and his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Whitworth. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth "Liz" Arnold; his son-in-law Charles J. Arnold; and his grandchildren, Brian Arnold and Lorin Bales.
