He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Beatty and Anna Beatty (Rarric); his wife Loma Jane (Goodwin); his grandson Jamie A. Beatty; and his siblings, Dale Beatty, Glen Beatty, Marvin Beatty, Earl Beatty and Charlene Pritchard.
He is survived by: his sons, Danny G. (Kathy) of New Philadelphia, James T. (Lila) and Cuyahoga Falls; his grandchildren, Danielle Moon (Nick), Ashley Beatty (Tim Kalp), Chase Beatty (Jaymie Wallace), Michael Jones, Talsa Leslie and Celcie Rhoades; and his brothers, Gary Beatty (Judy) and Merle Beatty (Laura Mae Carrick).
