He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Collins and Gwendolyn Collins; and his siblings, Francis "Deedle" Hixon, Louise Alleva, Betty "Sis" Kaylor, Charles "Bud" Collins, William "Bill" Collins Sr., John Collins and Marie Hice.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Collins; his sons, James Collins Jr. (Kim), Jeff Collins and Russell Collins (Lisa); his grandchildren, William, Dennis, Desiree, Jeff Jr., Ella and Brad; his sister Rosalie McGalla of Ronco, PA; and also, Maggie, John Burrows and Armbruster. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
