He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Eagon and Ann Eagon; his sister Joyce Bush; and his siblings-in-law, Karen, Richard Cooper and Tom Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judy"; his sons, James D. Eagon, Jr. and Brian R. Eagon (Amber); his grandchildren, Eva Anderson, Samuel Eagon and Harvey Eagon; and his sisters, Kathy Eagon (Diane Fields), Janet Drake (Roy), Linda Lewis (Bill), Cheryl Henderson and Peggy Kinsey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
