We bid farewell to James Nicholas Bartz (Akron, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 28, 2024 at the age of 91. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Bartz and Zoe Bartz; his wife Madeline Elizabeth; his stepmothers, Theodora Bartz (Rev. George), Presvytera Zafera Bartz (Peter) and Lorraine Bartz; his sisters-in-law, Marge Bartz (Melvin), Frosso Georgopoulos (Chet), Katina Hennigan and Sophia Van Aernum; his godparents, William and Anna Georgopoulos; and his godson Steven Georgopoulos.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Zoe Bartz (John Chames) of Akron, Helen Catherine Daley (John) of Pittsburg, Kansas and Nicolette Margaretta Koozer (Renold) of Copley; his grandchildren, Zachary James Renold Koozer, Nicole Marie Chatham (Jeff), Nikolas Sebastian Frazier and Braden Koozer; his great grandchildren, James Atticus Chatham and Judah Daniel Chatham; and his brother Tom Bartz of Jackson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, neighbors, and dear church friends.
