She is survived by: her daughter Tara Brooks; her grandsons, DeJon and DeMarco Brooks; her siblings, Charlotte McDowell, Maxine McCarroll, Banks, Jr. and Herbert A. Johnson (Johnnie); and her stepchildren, Alfred Strong, II and Rosita Lewis.
