It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack E. Benn (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Jodee Lynn; his parents, Jack D. and Ellen; and his sister Judy. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Jayson Matthew, Jill Koch Johnston and Karen Earnsberger; his grandchildren, Beau, Brianna, Zoe, Spencer and Suzanna; his great grandchildren, Atlas and Karuna; and his brothers, David and Jim.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the The Chapel (1800 Raber Rd, Uniontown, OH 44685). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Rd. SW, Liburn, GA 30047.
