With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ila I. Miller (Akron, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandmother Patsy Hughley Peyton Coyle; her parents, Ophelia Allen and Willian Allen; her aunt Anne Coyle Ingram; and her brother Wendell Allen (Richard Miller).
She is survived by: her brother Alonzo Allen (Lena) of Monticello, KY; her sister-in-law Juanita Allen (Wendell) of Monticello, KY; her nieces and nephews, Richard Michael Miller II (Yon) of Austin, TX, Debra Parmer (Bishop Charles) of Cleveland, OH, Mya McClain (William) of Akron, OH and Dionne Miller-Fitch of Akron, OH; and her grandchildren, Shanice Miller-Owens, Kimberly Sanders, Yal Wrikton, Ainslee Johnson-Brown (Jade), Kwame Barksdale of Brittany Barksdale, Mi and Christian Bolling. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Newcomer (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA).
