He is survived by: his son Trevor Shankel; his stepsons, Shane Slagle (Kristi) and Trent Slagle (Angela); his grandchildren, Briella, Keirsten, Drake, Kyleigh and Kayden; his sister Brenda Lowe; his partner Lynn Bragg; the mother of his children Gayle Shankel; and his niece Jennifer Wiseman. He is also survived by many other relatives and countless friends.
