She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemmie Taylor and Myrtie Taylor (Hardin); her husband Marcell Strickland; her stepdaughter Cheryl Stafford; and her siblings, Leonard Taylor, Henry "Bubba" Taylor, Sr., Winford W. Taylor, Gerald E. "Jewel" Taylor, Edward Taylor, Lousie Tuttle and Mary Bybee.
She is survived by: her sister Essie McKinney of Russellville Kentucky; and her nieces and nephews, Helen Sanders, Carolyn Sherfield, Henry Clay Taylor, Jr., Henry D. Taylor, David Taylor (Vanetta), Dwight McKinney (Barbara Ann), Herb McKinney (Regina) and Clarence Spencer (Charlene). She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
