She was predeceased by: her daughter Fiona; her mother Janie McDay; and her siblings, Willie Mae McDay, Evelyn Bennett, Eloise Chatman and Alfred McDay.

She is survived by: her sister Gloria Jean McDay-Brown; and her aunt Rose Pruett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
