Harriet Ann Burnham Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Ann Burnham of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Harriet is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Harriet's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Dallas and Loretta McDonald; her brothers, Robert and Willard; and her son Gregory.
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Burnham (Maryellen) and Tom McDonald (Denise); her granddaughter Baleigh Burnham; and her sister Mary Margaret (Richard Roten). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dunn-Quigely Funeral Home (811 Grant St, Akron, OH 44311). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (1580 Brown St, Akron, OH 44301).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Burnham Family Summit Choral Endowment at Akron Community Foundation (345 W. Cedar St, Akron, OH 44307) or Summit Choral Society (140 E. Market St, Akron, OH 44308).
