He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shaffer and Mildred Shaffer (Temple); his wife Margaret Shaffer (Burdette); his siblings, James Shaffer, Harold Temple (Betty) and Nancy McVey (Sam); his children-in-law, Silvia Price and Louis Scalzo; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Shaffer and Ernie Landis.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Price of Tuscarawas, Rod Price of Pensacola, FL and Laura Scalzo of Akron; and his siblings, Charlie Shaffer (Vera), Ron Shaffer and Shirley Landis. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
