He was predeceased by: his daughter Francesca McManigal (Maria Bilotta); and his siblings, Vincenzo, Vito, Ottavio, Maria, Francesca, Catarina and Bettina.
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his siblings, Immaculata and Nicola; his children, Fernando Bilotta (Shellie), Joe Bilotta (Carla), Antoinette Starkey (Mike) and Billy McManigal (Cheri); his grandchildren, Giuseppe Bilotta (Andrea) and Julia Bilotta; and his great grandchildren, Bella, Sophia McManigal, Logan and Gabrielle Starkey (Shirley Marko). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions dedicated in memory of Joe can be donated to The Alzheimer's Foundation of America or the Humane Society of Summit County.
