He is survived by: his children, Evelyn Scherer, Josh Shinn, Joyce Sharpes (William), Garry Scherer Jr. (Jennifer), Mary Early and Donald Scherer (Melissa). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 siblings; and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
