He was predeceased by: his parent Ida Mae Sutton; his wife Joanne Sutton; and his sisters, Eleanor Wiggins-Sutton and Barbara Jean Sims. He is survived by: his children, Frederick Sutton Jr. (Shondra), Cynthia Chetham of Akron, OH, Carmen Taylor of Hampton, VA and Kimberly Stone (Wade) of Akron, OH.; his brother Melvin Sutton of Newport News, VA; his grandchildren, Brian Martin (Deana), Shawndell Martin, Andre Stone, Kenyetta Martin, Francis Sutton, Creneace Taylor, Jasmine Vanterpool, Chareese Stone and Alexis Taylor; and his godchildren, Mark Dingle and Chico Rhasistry. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
