He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Cleary and Anna Lee Cleary. He is survived by: his partner Tracy Gergel (Pariano); his sons, Scott and Tyler Cleary; and his siblings, Mike, Tom, Cathy Hawes, Ann, Don, Joan and Jim Cleary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
