She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Williams and Lena Williams; her husband William James Howard; and her daughter Cathy Howard-Lindemann. She is survived by: her sons, Reginald Howard and Steven Howard; her daughter-in-law Sandra Howard; her grandchildren, Carrianne Mance, Tianna Howard, Taylor Howard-Parkman, Steven Howard, Jr. and Savannah Howard; and her great grandchildren, Samson Howard and Adia Howard.
