She was predeceased by: her husband Jasper "Pete" Davis; her son Steven G. Davis; her parents, George Vinson and Erman Vinson; and her siblings, Bufford Brown, Carl Vinson, Barbara Brown, Betty Meband and Helen Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Byrd (Lee), Bruce Davis and Cathy Davis; her siblings, Geraldine Vinson, Marilyn Vinson Robinson and George Vinson Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Celestine Valrie, Joe Davis (Willie Pearl) and Wardell Davis (Juanita). She is also survived by grandchildren, (21) great-grandchildren, and (19) great-great grandchildren.
