It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther M. Wilson of Akron, Ohio, born in Elmira, West Virginia, who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Henry Cottrill; her husband James C. Wilson; her grandson Reno Everett; and her siblings, Dolan (Ruhama), Darius (Helen), Wallace Cottrill (Evelyn) and Celestia Simons (Donald).
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Wilson and Keely "Kim" James (Robert Halbleib); her grandsons, Kevin Norton and Cameron Chasteen; and her cockatiel Rocky. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Millheim Baptist Church at 2661 Hayne Rd, Akron, OH 44312.
