She is survived by: her son Walter Evans; her brothers, Elbridge Gaiters, Joseph III and Charlie; her grandchildren, Jerry Jerome Davis III, Kyrie Shakur Smith, Chanel Unique Gates and Bryant Lee Gates Jr.; her children, Monroe Jr., Priscilla Boutte, Wilbert (Dearest), Lue Ella Prince, Juanita Gichana (Elias), Anthony and Dora Evans; her sisters, Viola Woolridge and Amelia Gaiters; and her sister-in-law Catherine Gaiters. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren.
