It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Eugene Walchalk (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Walchalk and Ann Walchalk; his children, Robert Walchalk and Kim Mikulin; and his son-in-law Chris Rinehart.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Walchalk; his children, Dave Walchalk (Mary) and Denise Rinehart; his children-in-law, Peggy Walchalk and Pete Mikulin; his grandchildren, Adam Mikulin, Amanda Mikulin, Cory, Kaitlyn Walchalk, Drew, Sara Walchalk and Kenneth Rinehart; and his great grandchild Luke Mikulin.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home - Green Chapel (4178 Massillon Rd, Uniontown, OH 44685). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (1800 Steese Rd, Uniontown, OH 44685).
