Edward Alden Russell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Alden Russell (Akron, Ohio), who passed away on April 6, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Helen Loucille Niemann; and his stepson Michael Fenwick. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Harrison-Russell; his sons, Michael Russell of Akron and Mark Russell of Pompano Beach, FL; his stepchildren, Laurie Mellion, Kevin Fenwick and Tim Fenwick (Linda); his grandchildren, Mark Mellion (Amber), Dr. Kate Mellion, Ryan Mellion (Ryan Marie), Erin Fenwick, Kelly Fenwick and Scott Fenwick; and his cousin Richard Darmstadt (Sharon). He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, numerous other cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Akron Athletic Department or Summa Health Hospice Center.
