He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Maher and Margaret Maher (Scott); and his sister Jean. He is survived by: his children, Erin Cherewatti, Austin Maher (Caitlin), Monique Simmons (Brian), Natalie Magaña (Adam), Courtney Gargiulo (Andy) and James Maher (Noel); his grandchildren, Chase Cherewatti, Logan Cherewatti, Brooke Cherewatti, Finnegan Maher, Saoirse Maher, Órlagh Maher, Aoife Maher, Camille Simmons, Charlie Simmons, Sebastian Simmons, Genevieve Simmons, Ella Magaña, Abigail Magaña, Gabriella Gargiulo and Liam Gargiulo; his siblings, Richard Maher (Laurie), John Maher (Pat), Marie Stajcer (Eric), Alice Luse (John) and James Maher (Judy); and his former wives, Patrice Maher and Lisa Connolly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
