She was predeceased by: her parents, William Boxler and Mary Boxler; her siblings, Edwin, William, Leona, Paul, Rose, Mildred, Howard, Robert and Meryl; and her grandson Danny Neuwirth.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Francis (William), Kevin (Lisa), Maggie Pace (Tom), James, Stephen (Melinda) and Patty McNeill; her grandchildren, Kathryn Haneline (Kyle), Dr. Christine Ciullo (Zachary), Laura Schneider (Daniel), Dr. Anne Francis (Christopher Munden), Shannon McNeill, Stephanie Furman (Nick), Michelle McNeill, Robert, Daniel (Justine), Michael (Vanessa), Emily Neuwirth and Joey McNeill (Patricia); and her friend Ruth Derck Spencer. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home- Akron (500 E Exchange St, Akron, OH 44304). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mary Annunciation Church (55 Broad St, Akron, OH 44305).
