She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Jenell Martin-Hardy and Leon Hardy; and her sister Prestella. She is survived by: her sisters, Jacqueline and Gwen; her husband Otis Charles Wheeler; her children, Doris (Pookie), Anitra (Cherry), Cleveland (Nunie), Evelyn (Tiny), Demetrius (Mechie) and Shannon; her aunts, Shirley and Elmina; her mother-in-law Dorothy Wheeler-Vandiver; her niece Martha; and also Glenn. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
