It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Devonna M. Maple of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Shaffer and Nellie Shaffer; her husband Harold Maple, Sr.; and her siblings, Ronald Shaffer, Twila Hughes and Doris McClellan.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Drummond (Joseph), Harold "Bud" Maple, Jr. and Danny Maple (Toni); her grandchildren, Lisa Evans, Michelle Parisi, Haley Maple-Ewusiak, Jessica Maple, Jonathan Maple and Awyn Maple; and her great grandchildren, Nolan, Cam Evans, Emma, Isabelle, Aiden Parisi, Logan Dempsey, Owen and Aubrey Pownall. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
