He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smith and Hilda Smith. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his son Douglas; and his brothers, Tim (Bobbi), Roman (Kim), Richard (Terri), Marvin (Carol) and Gerald. He is also survived by two grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Akron Children's Hospital.
