He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm "Don" McCluskey and Jane McCluskey; and his sister Bridget. He is survived by: his children, Erin Oley, Malcolm, Casey, Connor, Janeace, Reece, Dean, Bryn, Gwenyth, Corinne, Michael and Molly Long; the mother of his children Patty; his siblings, Tim (Rebecca Villicana), Eileen Sullivan (Greg) and Monica McCluskey (Dick Kennet); and his wife Patty Meath McCluskey. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home - Copley (3475 Copley Rd, Akron, OH 44321). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (164 W Market St, Akron, OH 44303). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chestnut Hill Memorial Park (2613 Sackett Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Dennis's honor to the Comunale Cancer Foundation.
