He was predeceased by: his father Charles Rager; and his son Nicholas Pettitt. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his mother Janet Rager; his sisters, Terri Campbell (Art) and Wendy Brown (Roy); his stepchildren, Ricci Grimes (Bo) and Michael Leonhard (Sarah); his granddaughters, Mara, Quinn, Macy and Micah; his nieces and nephews, Nathan (Ashley), Alexis, Ashley, Beau, Andrew and Christopher; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava, Hallie, Jillian, Avery, Quinten and Allyson.
