She is survived by: her son Shamar L. Carter of Akron, OH; her granddaughter Shaunteenaye Carter of Akron, OH; her sisters, Mary J. Bolton (William) of Cincinnati, OH, Regina Gainer of Akron, OH and Alison "Punken" L. Campbell of Columbus, OH; and her close friends, Deborah Simmons, Judy Johnson and Diane Tinker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church - Akron (1241 Grant St, Akron, OH 44301). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
