He was predeceased by: his father Sam Mezzacapo; his brother-in-law Howard Schlegel; and his children, Deborah Kemp and David "Tony" Mezzacapo. He is survived by: his wife Therese Hackett; his daughters, Denise Adzema (Peter) and Elizabeth Leitao (Gerry); his children-in-law, Scott Kemp and Kim Mezzacapo; his grandchildren, Wesley Kemp, Peter Adzema, Natalie and Samantha Mezzacapo; his great grandchild Mason; and his sister Nancy Schlegel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.
