We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2025, at the age of 69, Daniel Joseph Meers (Akron, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Daniel Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Daniel Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Meers and Mattie Meers. He is survived by: his brother Lawrence Meers, Jr. (Tamara); his nieces, Tabitha, Angela and Andrea; his nephew Andrew; and his brothers, Jerry and William.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
