He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Genet and Wanda Genet (Breitenstine); his brother Dan Genet; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph A. Emminger, Jr. and Chuck Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon of Norton; his sons, David Genet (Nicole) of Norton and Randy Genet (Melissa) of Akron; his grandchildren, Cameron Genet (Josh Dillinger), Carter Genet (Haley Elkins), Julia Genet of Norton, Miley Genet of Akron, Morgan, Madison and Marcus Mellinger of Akron; his siblings, Donna Taylor and Don "Rocky" Genet (Deb) of New Franklin; and his sister-in-law Brenda Genet of Green.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (3250 Greenwich Rd, Norton, OH 44203). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or Summit DD, in memory of Dale Genet.
