With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia E. Butler of Akron, Ohio, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 17, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leamon Rowland and Maxine Rowland; her former husband Henry Butler; and her husband Elmo Lusane, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Gregory, Tracy Boyer (Reggie), Larry, Stacy Jackson (Gregory) and Henry L.; her sisters, Mary Cannon (Sylvester), Joanne Peoples and Maryalice Randle; her niece Nicole Greathouse; her stepchildren, Elmo Jr. (Gloria), Patricia (Tony) and Bertha; and her close friend Katie Ellis. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren.
