With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cora Mae Hendricks (Akron, Ohio), born in Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on August 20, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stone and Willie Mae Stone; her siblings, C. H. Stone, Willie Stone, London Stone, Arthur Stone, Leon Stone, Hodges Stone and Lillie Maxwell (Stone); and her children, Veronica A. Smith and James A. Hendricks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah G. Stone, Sandra J. Terry and Lillie F. Harrison; her grandchildren, Wendell Smith (Amy), Landon Harrison, Kea Smith, Mesha Allen, Jawan Smith and James Terry; and her sisters, Ida English (PQ) and Christine Flakes (Stone). She is also survived by friends, fellow parishioners and neighbors.
