He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Herbert Edward Hines; his sister Melanie Hines Amponsah; his niece Rebecca Amponsah; his wife Magdalene Hileman Hines; his son Jeremy Edward Hines; his daughter-in-law Jessica Bartosh Hines; his daughter Miranda Camille Hines; his mother Sara Robinson Hines; his sisters, Dr. Alison Hines and Jocelyn Hines Cooper; his brother-in-law Louis Cooper; and his nieces, Chelsea and Lyndsey Cooper.
