With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl V. Simmons of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on September 4, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo R. Simmons and Sara F. Simmons; her daughter April Simmons; and her sister Salbrina Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Bridget Simmons, Jermyn Mesha Simmons and Tihida Oliver (Michael); her grandchildren, Kashmeir Dixson, Vanessa Williamson (Daymond), Roger Oliver and Collin Simmons; her great grandchildren, Kassidy Adams and Kevin Beasley; and her siblings, Ann Gwen (Jeff), Mary Simmons, Angelene Irvin (Michael), John Simmons (Debra), Paul Simmons, Leo Simmons, Jr., Nathan Simmons and Michael Ingol (Cherrelle). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
