It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cherie W. McCune (Akron, Ohio), born in Barberton, Ohio, who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl L. McCune and Winifred J. McCune; her brother Roy W. McCune; her sister-in-law Julieann McCune; her half-brother Donald McCune (Barbara McCune); and her close friend Dick Morse of Barberton.
She is survived by: her nephew Earl M. McCune (Lori) of Cuyahoga Falls; her great-nieces, Lorianna McCune and Kaitlyn Vaughn; her great-nephew Alexander McCune; her cousin Julie Combs (Robert) of Norton; her great-nephew Donald L. McCune (Leighann) of Akron; and her niece Suzette Moon of Akron.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be sent to dementiasociety.org to help fund dementia research, in memory of Cherie McCune.
