With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles J. Wright Jr. of Akron, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Charles find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chas Wright and Margaret Wright (Fatula); his wife Barbara A. Radik of Michael's Cemetery; and his grandson Joseph Wright. He is survived by: his children, Margaret Bartholomew of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Thomas (Rebecca Wright); and his stepgrandchildren, Teddy, Tommy and Sammy Swift.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James Funeral Home Inc. (8 E Broad St, Newton Falls, OH 44444). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all donations please be made to the Hospice of Western Reserve 30080 Hospice Way Westlake, OH 44145 in his name.
