He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schaefer and Beulah Schaefer; and his siblings, Michael Schaefer and Penny Ison. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Schaefer; his children, Cindy Stine (Derek) and Raymond Schaefer (Suzanne); his stepson James Gelet; his granddaughters, Ashley Mahne (Reid) and Jordan Schaefer; his stepgrandson Robert Stine; and his sister Sondra Low (Jon). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
