With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles E. Fluharty of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on February 23, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Juanita; his children, Charlene Westwood of Point Pleasant, WV and Dr. Walter Fluharty of Akron, OH; his grandchildren, Sunshine Scherer of Hudson, OH and Brandon Fluharty of Sarasota; and his great grandchild Elsa Scherer.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his name to the Diabetes Association of America.
